Dr Yogesh Patel has been an established member of the team at Lancaster House Dental Practice since 2008. He qualified with a BDS from the Royal London Hospital in 2007 and has continued to develop his clinical skills and knowledge throughout his career.
Yogesh is known for his calm, friendly and reassuring manner. He takes time to listen to his patients, understand their concerns and explain their treatment options clearly. His relaxed approach is particularly appreciated by nervous and anxious patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident about their dental care.
Yogesh has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics (root canal treatment), developing advanced knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of the most complex root canal cases.
Using advanced techniques and equipment, including dental microscopy and CBCT imaging where appropriate, his focus is on treating infection, managing complex root canal problems and, whenever possible, helping patients save teeth that might otherwise need to be removed.
Yogesh is proud to support local dentists and their patients by accepting referrals for endodontic assessment and treatment. He works closely with referring dentists, providing an additional treatment option for patients with more challenging root canal problems before returning them to their own dentist for ongoing care. He is also happy to discuss cases with referring colleagues where they would like advice before making a referral.
Alongside his clinical work, Yogesh is an Educational Supervisor for Foundation Dentists, supporting and mentoring newly qualified dentists as they develop their clinical skills and confidence. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of dentists and takes great pride in helping young colleagues develop throughout this important stage of their careers.
Yogesh also has considerable experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has provided Fastbraces® orthodontic treatment since 2014 and has undertaken postgraduate training in dental implant treatment.
Yogesh remains committed to postgraduate education, both as a clinician and mentor, and to providing his patients with high-quality, evidence-based dental care in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Dr. Gursharan Kalsi BDS, FGDP(UK), SAAD, ADI (GDC No. 65573)
Principal Dentist
Dr. Gursharan Kalsi qualified in 1990 from the Royal London Hospital and has since built a distinguished career in general and implant dentistry.
He completed his Certification in Advanced Surgical Implant Techniques in 2003 and currently provides comprehensive implant treatments at Caterham Dental Care. His training includes advanced procedures such as extensive bone grafting and sinus lifts, enabling him to deliver complete rehabilitation of failing dentition with the highest standard of care.
Dr. Kalsi works closely with a skilled team of clinicians to ensure seamless, multidisciplinary care for his patients. He is widely respected for his warm, gentle manner, helping patients feel relaxed and confident throughout their treatment journey.
A strong advocate of lifelong learning, Dr. Kalsi stays up to date with the latest advancements in implantology and dental materials. He is also a mentor to dentists beginning their careers in implantology and an Educational Supervisor for newly qualified dentists.
